Question For The Ladies

Postby sierra on Sun Aug 09, 2009 4:15 pm

Since we haven't had a poll question in some time, I've decided to ask one and a silly one at that!

I noticed a female runner wearing her tech shirt she received from a race she ran. She was dressed casually and had a regular bra on underneath. The tech shirt was more of a mesh shirt than a wicking kind, so it wasn't hard to notice.

Question is, when you get a race shirt like that (as opposed to a regular cotton shirt), do you wear it with a regular bra or is that sports bra only?

For me, it would depend how "see through" the mesh shirt was. If you can see under clothes through it I would wear my sports bra if I even wore that shirt at all. So I voted to wear the sports bra under that type of shirt, but obviously: to each her own.

I try to avoid flashing my underwear to the general public, so I would only wear a mesh shirt while running WITH a sports bra underneath. No need to wear a mesh shirt to go to the grocery store :)
