Trail Runs

I like trail running, so I have 2 good places to run on trails in St. Mary's County:

Myrtle Point Park - Between Rte 5 and the bridge, take Patuxent Blvd. to the end. The park has a lot of small trails (longest it Deep Woods Trails, only like 2.5 miles), there are a bunch of little trails connected. You can also run on the roads nearby, traffic is very light. I like this park because not many people use it and I always see animals.

St. Mary's Lake - Great 7.5 mile trail loop (watch out for the roots). Its a state park so there's a fee for nonmembers - honor system.
