Inspiration 5K Run/Walk for Special Olympics Calvert County.
Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons; the run/walk starts at 10:00. Free (T-shirts for those with at least $25 in pledges.) Special Olympics Calvert County will host its fifth annual Inspiration 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 17, 2008. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons; the run/walk starts at 10:00 a.m. Participants can be part of a leisurely walk through Solomons or a more competitive 5K race, marked by the Calvert County Sheriff?s Office. All are welcomed and encouraged to join in the festivities and there is no charge to participate; however, those who pledge or donate at least $25 will be given an Inspiration 5K Run/Walk T-shirt. Water and snacks will be provided.
