http://somd.com/calendar/index.cgi?day=3&year=2008&month=5&session_file=&calendar=&view_day=on

"The 8th Annual Robbie Miles Run and Walk will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008. "

(In case you have access to that website, and you feel like putting in that date.)

That was a slight overkill to give me the date. Shocked

I don't follow the "overkill" comment.

What I meant was, someone -- was it you? -- went to the trouble of putting in dates and months for the races on that web page, in exactly the same fashion that I just did a few days ago on my grand prix spreadsheet, except for one difference -- they put a month but not a date on the Robbie run, but my spreadsheet has a date for that one. So I went back to google to see where I got that one, and posted it, in case it was you doing the work, so you could benefit from the same google. Do you follow what I mean? If not, you'll see when you see that Grand Prix interim spreadsheet that I put together -- you'll see I had to do the exact same thing with putting in race dates as whoever did that web page (you?).

Do you know who can upload an HTML Grand Prix report? Can you? Do you know where to put it? (I have no idea, myself.)

Cheer up Perry. I was teasing.

The Web Master is Bob Tracy. His email is listed on the website.

Your pressure idea was well-timed -- I'm supposed to be working on taxes, so every distraction is welcome, even if it involves poring through long lists of names. There are a lot more CBRC members than I expected, I have to say -- from the monthly club meetings, and the past Grand Prix results, I was thinking there'd be 20-30 members. I was shocked to get a roster with nearly 200 members.

Anyway, I'll email the html file off to the webmaster, after I fix a mistake that Liza helped me correct. Presumably he'll know what to do with it -- after staring at all those names, all I want to do is hand the results to someone else so I'm done with it -- until next weekend, of course... Smile

You must like working under pressure. I think that Hospice is the biggest race for members, so after that it should be very easy!

I just noticed that the webmaster has posted the Grand Prix 2008 interim results

http://cbrcmd.org/docs/grand_prix_2008_interim_standings.htm

Send questions or corrections to myself -- I have a master list with times on it, in case I made a mistake and need to reorder somewhere. A copy of my working master file is also in the CBRC yahoo group files area.

I've updated the Grand Prix results and uploaded my latest Excel spreadsheet version to the CBRC yahoo files area (pending on any updates due to any membership changes). They should be available on the website pretty soon.

Did you ask Bob to link it on the main webpage (where the 2006 Grand Prix info is)?

I sent him a note. He fixes the data to make it look more presentable, so it requires some work for him.
