My bad

Postby mablyb on Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:42 pm

Yeah, I apologize. We decided to run at 6am on Thursday at the track meet (after suffering in the heat) and I forgot to post it. I didn't think anyone was still following this topic! (I hadn't been able to check it for a few days) Anyways, during the summer we typically run Dowell Rd. at 0600 and then the Solomon's Loop around 0630, both from the Firehouse. I will try to be more diligent checking this topic on Saturdays.

Thanks for coming out to run bright and early on a Sunday!

July 5th

Anyone interested in a 10 mile run tomorrow (7/5) morning, join us behind the Solomon's firehouse (Rte 4 and Dowell Rd) at 6:00am for about 10 miles. The pace will be around 8 min/mile, but this will depend on who shows up. Feel show up at 6:30am behind the firehouse for 6 miles around the island if you want to sleep in.

Also, there is now a 'Saturday's in Solomon's' group run at 8am meeting near the Solomon's Food Lion. It's conditioning time for Patuxent's cross country team, so there plenty of people to meet and run with. Runners typically run anywhere from 3-6 miles at 6-12 min/mile pace, something for everyone!

I was going to run with you all this morning, but was too lazy. Hope you had a good run. I'll probably try again next weekend.
