Do you mean average mileage when not gearing up for a big race? Right now I'm at a lower weekly milage than I will be in late summer prepping for Baltimore. Anyway.... Laughing

Scott, I had an outlook reminder go off today saying MCM registration -- I must have set that wrong, because I just checked the web page

http://www.marinemarathon.com/Page82.aspx

and it says registration opens on Apr 30.

I'm still making up my mind whether to do it -- I mean, I'd love to, but I wish it were as close as the LPRM was Smile

I try to keep my base mileage around 30-40. Make sure when you start increasing your mileage for a marathon, you try and only do so by 10%/week. If you're still having issues with your feet, you might want to hold off. Have you tried a half marathon?

Sue - you're doing Baltimore? Have you done it before? You're going to love it! It's well organized, a nice course, great crowd support, and has some neat scenery. I've done it twice. Have fun!
