Big Blister

Information about running-specific injuries and nutrition

Postby Amy on Wed Nov 19, 2008 6:32 pm

My blister is still dead, dead skin that is. Evidently there was a tear in it because today it filled up with sand after several hours of frolicking in the ocean and on the beach. Ewwwwww. I ordinarily never remove the dead skin, scabs, etc., but did so today. And no ill effects. In case anyone was wondering.

Ok, in that case can you turn your blistercam to point to the beach & ocean so we can admire them? It's not exactly sunny beachy weather here right now...

Awesome!! You have literally left a piece of yourself there! Good-bye Amy's Blister. I've enjoyed following the story. Hope you're having a really great time! I saw a few tiny snowflakes here yesterday afternoon--for a minute.

You should try dipping that shell of a blister in the ocean as the salt water should be really good for it. With the temperature these days it might hurt like hell, but your used to pain after last weeks marathon anyway. I'm just about past the pain myself.

I bet I saw more black ice near the beach today than Amy did...
