MD State Parks Pass

MD State Parks Pass

Postby Amy on Mon Oct 12, 2009 5:34 am

Now that the bugs are gone, the leaves are changed, and fall is in the air, it's time to head back in the woods to run the trails. Early this year, I purchased a MD State Parks Pass. It's $75 for MD residents and can be used at any park in the state, day use, one vehicle. I think I shared this info early this year, but can't find where on the forum it is. It pays for itself pretty quickly when you add up the $5 fee at Calvert Cliffs, $3 fee at Greenwell, $3 fee at the lake....

The great news is - if you purchase the 2010 pass now, it's also good for the remainder of 2009. What a deal!

And the fire road is such great hill work :)

But I recommend staying off the yellow path -- the bridge is decayed at one end, and that clearing at the other end is all overgrown (what is that clearing -- some planned utility route? Some planned road route?)

If the bridge is out, just splash on through the water, no biggie....LOL. Seriously though, I've been hopping across the broken bridge for a while, each time I sort of lightly tip toe over and hold my breath....someday it may actually be gone.... :? The clearing you're mentioning is probably the gas line, and it has nice rolling hills too.

Thanks for posting the link again Amy! We're getting a pass this year.
