Greetings everyone!

Details/Location:
Saturday, May 2, 2009
8AM
Laurel Springs Park
Radio Station Road, LaPlata, MD
(Type in “Laurel Springs Park, LaPlata, MD” into Google for directions.

10AM Brunch at IHOP
116 Rosewick Rd, La Plata
(301) 539-7373

Laurel Springs Park has a ~1.6 mile dirt loop for running and walking. Then leaving the park there are plenty of wide open roads and the newly paved trail that parallels Rosewick Road out towards 301 or North East to White Plains golf course and Billingsly Road. LaPlata High school is near by too for those that would prefer a track to run or walk on.

Thanks David, Claire, and George for organizing us for a fun morning! I really enjoyed running on the paved path and around the golf course. The company was great on the run and at breakfast.

Thanks for coming out Amy. I enjoyed your company & conversation as well, AND your adventurous spirit in ignoring the "Attention Danger" signs at the golf course. Breakfast was yummy too, although next time we'll have to be a little more decadent in our selections - David's butterscotch pancakes sure looked good! :)
