I haven't heard a peep yet how the race went and how everyone did. I also can't find results. Anyone?

Beautiful morning, lots of people out and most people I talked with were pleased with how they did. CBRC members got several awards. I'll let them tell us who they are and won't steal their thunder. ;)

But here's an idea.... http://www.runforhospice.org/events/results/

Thanks. Their site wasn't the easiest and the results must have posted after I looked. I'll have to send congrats to Jamie. She just had baby #4 not too long ago. I'll also have to tease Richard about those 8 seconds or whatever it was... :)

I don't know what happened in the front of the 5K. There were three high school looking kids running in front of those of us in the next pack, for the entire race, as far as I know. But only two are posted in the results. Dunno whether one of them bailed out or whether the results are wrong.

Yeah, it was a very nice day. The race was nice. Around mile 2.5 a man pushing a stroller with child and dog on leash zoomed by! I was like  as I watched him continue to pass runners and the rolling hills never seemed to slow him down. I ran it a little faster than last year, so I am happy with that. Also it was the longest "road" (as in pavement) run I have done in a pretty long time. I did see a few club peeps and said hello, but I couldn't linger post-race since I had a babysitter on borrowed time.

Oh yes, that was one of the funny moments for me on Saturday -- when Sue told me that it was her longest pavement run of the season :)

For me personally, the Hospice 5K sucked - my second worst recorded 5K time ever. Beautiful day, great people, great turnout - everything there was well done and fun. But I felt pretty awful and had to run anyway since I was on a team. I did not enjoy my legs seizing up in the third mile or throwing up the nothing in my stomach 3 times after the race - I didn't even run hard! Terrible run for me (second one in a row), but somehow I still managed to place in my age group. Shocking. :-)

Crystal I hope you get feeling better on your runs! That does not sound fun at all. And yet you still placed! Wow!
