There is a website I use all the time to find new runs and distances of any road in the country. It has the same kind of maps as google maps, with the maps and satelite images but you can also mark out points on it and it will tally the distance for you. You can get elevation reading and all kinds of other stuff. I've zoomed out of my neighborhood on the map and have found several long run loops by looking at the roads from above.
