Bagels

General discussion and comments

I keep forgetting to tell you all about the NAS-TAY bagel I had at the Tour Du Port a couple years ago, it was jalapeno with peanut butter slathered on it. The volunteers meant well and it's otherwise a fantastic event. I can't stand to waste food so ate it anyway. Also chased it with lots and lots of water b/c it was yucky.

Yep, it was disgusting. The volunteers were putting peanut butter or cream cheese on everything and I couldn't see which bagels were what kind. I was raised to be a member of the clean plate club and couldn't bring myself to throw it out. Eric wouldn't even split it with me. I ate the whole thing. I deserved a medal. Thank goodness it didn't also have salmons on it. That would have put totally over the top disgusting.

Thanks again for the encouraging note this morning! It was really fun to see that on the shoulder as I was plodding along. The banana bread was yummy, too. Daryl's recipe is a keeper. :)
